Tandem flight booking platform with online payments and gift vouchers
Overview
A complete booking platform serving Venturi Paragliding, a tandem paragliding company based in Lanzarote. The website enables customers to book aerial flight experiences and purchase gift vouchers. The site achieves top scores across all Lighthouse metrics, ensuring fast load times and an excellent user experience.
The existing workflow was manual: WhatsApp messages, handwritten calendars, and cash-on-arrival payments. Bookings were getting lost during peak season, no-shows were common without prepayment, and there was no way to sell gift vouchers online — a huge missed revenue stream during holidays.
We built a full-stack booking platform on Next.js with Supabase as the backend. Stripe handles payments and automatic invoicing. A custom calendar system shows real-time availability with weather-aware slot suggestions. Gift vouchers generate unique QR codes redeemable on-site. The admin dashboard gives the pilot a clear daily overview with customer details and payment status.
No-shows dropped dramatically with prepaid bookings. Gift voucher sales opened a new revenue channel that now accounts for a significant portion of holiday-season income. The pilot spends less time on admin and more time in the air.
