Overview
A trading journal and position management platform designed for active traders. MarketMind combines real-time market data with journaling tools, custom scanners, and performance analytics to help traders identify patterns in their behavior and improve their decision-making.
Traders were using spreadsheets to track positions, losing context about why they entered trades. Existing trading journals were either too simple (just a log) or too complex (institutional-grade tools). There was no middle ground that combined journaling with real-time data and actionable analytics.
We built a platform that integrates with market data feeds via WebSockets for real-time price tracking. The journaling system captures not just trade details but the reasoning behind each entry and exit. Custom scanners let traders define technical criteria and get alerted to opportunities. A PostgreSQL backend handles complex analytics queries across trade history.
Active traders report better discipline and awareness of their behavioral patterns. The custom scanner feature reduced screen time by alerting traders only when their specific criteria are met. Performance analytics helped traders identify their most profitable setups and time frames.
