Official federation platform with comprehensive race management system
Overview
The official digital platform for the Aragón Triathlon Federation (FATRI), managing the entire lifecycle of competitive triathlon in the region. From athlete licensing and club management to race registration, results, and rankings — the system handles thousands of athletes across dozens of events each season.
The federation was running on paper forms and disconnected spreadsheets. Race registration was done via email, results were published as PDFs, and ranking calculations required manual data entry across multiple events. The administrative burden was enormous, and errors were common.
We built a comprehensive federation management system on ASP.NET with MSSQL. The platform handles athlete and club registration with license management, event creation with online entry, live results publication with automatic ranking calculation, and a public-facing website for news and calendars. A REST API feeds data to timing companies for seamless results integration.
Administrative workload was cut dramatically. Race registration went from days of email processing to automated online entry. Rankings are calculated automatically after each event. The platform has processed thousands of race entries and results across multiple seasons.
